I have been getting a lot of questions asking why we don’t offer plastic download cards like some of our competitors do.

We at VinylDownloads.com are trying to keep the cost down so that you, the customer, does not have to raise the price of your records. The plastic cards, while sometimes aesthetically pleasing, are a huge money waster, especially when a most people throw away the plastic card after using the code to get their music. Printing the codes on glossy cardstock is just as presentable as plastic cards, yet they cost a lot less and are more enviromentally responsible.

We are working on securing some low priced printing options for all of our customers, and should have that done before the end of the month. This will enable you to have your cards designed / printed for you in the event you don’t feel like doing it yourself [DIY! GET IT?!] and still keeping the cost down.

If you have any questions at all, feel free to e-mail Kylewilliam @ VinylDownloads.com, we can ussually respond within a few hours of your correspondance!

Our goal at VinylDownloads is to offer the small, DIY minded labels a cheap and efficent means of keeping the physical product of vinyl relevant. By adding the option to have a high quality digital download accompany a record we hope to help preserve the relevance of vinyl.

We are still working out the design and content issues of the website, which will come as time progresses. The download interface is 100% functional. Keep checking back
